Matthew 18: 12-14

Jesus said:

“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.”

Just as a shepherd is concerned enough about one lost sheep to go search the hills for it, so God is concerned about every human being He has created (He is “not wanting anyone to perish,” 2 Peter 3:9). [NIV Life Application Study Bible]

Hi everyone. 🙂 This post is to remind us how much we are loved by God. Each and every one of us matters to Him, and Jesus would have died on the cross even if it was to save just one of us… that’s how much he loves us! That’s how much He loves you. That’s how much He loves me.

 .

God demonstrated this to us by giving “His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16). To learn in more detail about what Jesus did for us, please click here.

I hope you enjoy this song by Dara Maclean, “Nothing You Wouldn’t Do”. It’s one of my favorite songs to sing as I rejoice in knowing Jesus Christ. God bless! With love, Ashley.

  1. I really appreciate how Ashley’s blog reviews and analyses key aspects of God’s words and how she interjects warmth in her review, Ashley’s artful use of words conjures up images of sitting by a fireplace discussing the meaning and impact of the author’s message. Loved it ??
