Wow! I am so incredibly excited to let you know that my debut mystery novel, The Hotel Westend, has been released! This is a huge moment in my life! I’ve always loved to write, and I’ve always loved mysteries…but it is certainly something special to actually hold my own novel in my hands. If you love mysteries, I hope you will have a look.

I write traditional mysteries, humbly following in the footsteps of authors like Agatha Christie and Dorothy L. Sayers. You’ll also find that none of my stories contain excessive or gratuitously detailed violence. I suppose I would say that I write present-day mysteries filled with old-world charm. 🙂

The Hotel WestendSynopsis:

When the timid yet curious Elsie Maitland stumbles upon a small, seaside town, she takes a room in the lone hotel on top of the cliffs—but something’s amiss. A curious group of guests has been summoned by an unknown host, but what’s even more puzzling is that not even the guests seem to know why. What they do know, however, is that they were all suspects in an unsolved murder twenty years earlier, a murder that took place at this very hotel. History soon repeats itself when an unassuming reverend is bludgeoned to death and the hotel’s maid is poisoned, leaving the guests to wonder, who’s next?

I hope you will take a moment and learn more here. There is also a “Behind the Scenes” video to learn more about my plot and character ideas.

Have an amazing day, everyone! -Ashley
